Welcome to The Royal Mango Your home away from home in Kauai.  Your friends and family will appreciate the comfort they’ll find in this Hawaiian plantation style cottage with its tropical furniture, high ceilings, multiple ceiling fans, bamboo floors, lots of seating and queen size pull out sofa-bed.

The fully stocked kitchen has a tiled floor and top of the line dishwasher, microwave, gas stove, drip coffee maker and been grinder, blender for making tropical smoothies and a family size refrigerator.  We have also added two toasters (for 6) and a rice cooker.

 

The entry way has more seating lots of windows for airflow and a game table and chairs.  The dining table sits between the kitchen and fresh air from the front window. 

 

 

 

 

 

Two sets of dishes for your dining pleasure: white for every day and hand painted palms for your more festive occasions.

 

Queen’s Bedroom – queen size bed, Battenberg lace curtains, French dressers and sugarcane plantation wainscoting hint of South Pacific days.  Relax with a quiet ceiling fan, and lamps to read by.  Awaken to your dream vacation of morning sunlight in the east window, a chorus of jungle birds outside and a place to enjoy your coffee amongst citrus and avocado trees with no neighbors in sight.

 

 

Blue Kauai – two beds, a twin and a full size with traditional Hawaiian quilted bedspreads. Hand sewn pineapple curtains, painted lamps and mosaic mirror from local Kauai craftsmen give this room a fresh island feel.  A quiet ceiling fan will stir the air as you sleep. There are views of lush Kauai foliage in every direction, with total privacy. Both bedrooms have large closets.

 

The spacious deck built the length of the cottage is surrounded by a hedge of yellow hibiscus.  Your private table overlooks the acreage teaming with tropical sounds.  It is the  ideal location for relaxing and dining in the outdoors for breakfast or anytime.   A vintage plumeria tree grows through the deck floor offering shade and providing the classic fragrance of a Hawaiian flower lei as it drops its blossoms every morning on the doorstep of The Royal Mango.  A charcoal bar-b-que is standing by.  Mango And Shaquille, the resident kitties love to hang out with new friends on the deck.  But don't let them in the cottage please.
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION !  The Royal Mango is nestled in a beautiful valley away from the main highway, neighbors and close enough to walk to one of the finest (still very private) beaches on the island, Moloaa Bay Beach.  Added bonus, you are close to the best fruit stand on the island, located on our road up at the highway so you can enjoy gourmet coffee, smoothies, sandwiches and more on your way out to explore the island.

Moloaa Bay Beach is off the beaten path, and not on every map. Less than a mile from The Royal Mango, let the country lane lead you through the jungle, to the secluded beach.  You will discover paradise - perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
